Directive 2002/58/EC (e-Privecy Directive) has been incorporated in the Cypriot Law 112(I)/2004 concering the Regulation of Electronic Communications and Postal Services. By virtue of Article 107 of the said Law, the Personal Data Protection Commissioner has the power to deal with cases or complaints concerning potential violations of Articles 99, 100, 101, 150 and 106.
Directive 2009/136/EC amended, among others, Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC concerning Cookies.
